New Musical Discoveries 96 - Al Bano Carrisi & Mariana Pashalieva "Liberta"

This song may be considered in a similar vein as it heralds from Easter Europe as well. But rather than being a song about a lover scorned, it is simply about a new found sense of political freedom. Nonetheless, once again, a gorgeous melody surrounds heartfelt singing. Even if you can't make out all the words, it is easy to get the overall feeling.
