New Musical Discoveries 59 - Joe Lynch "Psychadelphia"

Do you like beatlesque songs with a drivng guitar sound with the sustain level on high done in a slightly psychedelic drone style?
If so you have found the right place for Joe Lynch has created just the song for you. I originally thought that is song was done by a band with the name Beatlescene of which Joe Lynch was the main member. It seems now that Beatlescene is the name of the album by Joe Lynch where you may find this great song.

New Musical Discoveries 54 - The Clockwork Dolls  "Impartial (The Battle)"

Are you fascinated by the recent Steampunk movement in art, literature, fashion, and, not least, music. You very well may ask, "What on earth is Steampunk?". The best definition I have heard describes it thusly: Steampunk is the science fiction of the steam age, re-imagined through the benefit of hindsight. Are you curious to know what Steampunk may sound like? Look no further, for here, encapsulated in song, is one of my favorite examples of the Neo-Victorian musical trends taking place.(I actually prefer the term Neo-Victoriana because of its accuracy.I will, nonetheless, concede to the inherent catchiness of the term Steampunk.)

New Musical Discoveries 53 - John Vanderslice "Kookaburra"

Do you like stimulating lyrics wrapped around a compelling nouveau folk music sound? A friend compares the music to that found in the movie "A Mighty Wind". LOL. I know what they are saying, but I find it much edgier and, therefore, much more engaging. See for yourself!
